Noise assessment and audiometric testing

Noise assessment is the foundation of all things holy, or at least all things workplace noise management related anyway, meaning noise surveys are an important part of managing employee risks at work, including the obvious areas such as engineering, construction or the food industry, but also the less obvious such as hospitals, schools and shipping.

Audiometric testing is the health screening element of the Noise Regs and we offer on-site testing, anywhere in the UK, in brand new purpose built mobile units operated by experienced technicians.

With the employee noise training service you get an experienced noise-obsessed trainer to darken your doorstep and fill your employees with enthusiasm for all things noise related.

Free noise management advice

The site is not all about selling noise services and if you are filled with a particularly deep sense of self-loathing and are wanting to know more about noise surveys then this should point you in the right direction. The law part explains what is needed, while the Health Surveillance FAQ gives a lot of detail on what audiometry actually is and how to go about buying services. The hearing protection pages go into how to choose and use protection.

The Hearing Protection Data page lets you compare over 200 types of hearing protection, while the hearing protector reviews give an opinion on types of protectors available. The Resources section has a few other bits including a noise policy and a demo of what Hearing Loss sounds like.

If you are looking for a noise assessment, on-site audiometric testing services or employee noise training from someone who should probably think about noise a little less and get out more, contact The Noise Chap to arrange a friendly coffee-fuelled chap to come round and sort you out.
